We set them.Job DescriptionWere looking for applicants with great written and oral communication skills, ability to anticipate issues before they arise, and to build trust with agents and customers. The Inside Commercial Sales Consultant is a sales professional licensed to sell business insurance products. Those in this role are responsible for working directly with business owners to identify Allstate and Commercial Expanded Market (CEM) insurance products that meet the insurance needs of the business owner. The sales professional is expected to provide a superior customer experience through effective telephone and written communication techniques that discover customer needs while building a customer relationship. The sales professional must be proficient at delivering a sales proposal based upon the unique needs of the business owner and closing the insurance sale. Individuals in this role will work closely with Allstate agents to pursue selling opportunities on behalf of the agent. This role does not include, cold calling, telemarketing or wholesaling. Work/Training Schedule:Training Schedule: (Initial 8 Weeks): Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM CTPermanent Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (may vary based on regional alignment and associated time zone)Start Date: TBDCompetitive Base Salary ($44,509.00 Annually) + Unlimited Commission Incentive (No Cap on commission earnings, Unlimited income potential)Location: Potentially work from home full time or if this person is close to Chandler, AZ or Charlotte, NC you may be asked to work hybrid in the office and at home. Key ResponsibilitiesInternal sales role to sell commercial insurance policies directly to customers on behalf of Allstate agentsListen and engage business owners to identify insurance needs and illustrate how commercial insurance products will meet those needsDeliver an exceptional customer sales experience from the initial customer contact to the sale of the policyAnswer inquiries that require an insurance license, including inquiries related to coverage, coverage limits, deductibles and various insurance policy options Resolve complex business insurance sales inquiriesDemonstrate a comprehensive understanding of specific company products, underwriting guidelines and market direction in order to deliver confident and reliable service to existing andpotential customersLeverage selling techniques to successfully close, sell, and bind business insurance policiesAchieve defined business results related to commercial insurance sales and service objectivesBuild solid relationships with agents to improve quality and quantity of lead submissions within the specific region of responsibilityAttempt to cross-sell additional lines of business to increase sales and customer retentionProficiently leverage resources, such as, but not limited to, Connexus & MCE quoting platforms, PAL, Dynamics, Allstate intranet, as well as underwriting guidelines as needed to complete an accurate assessment of the business risk and provide an accurate business insurance quoteDemonstrate competency to effectively manage multiple relationships and priorities simultaneouslyAdditional ResponsibilitiesUtilize technology to manage a sales workflow which provides for regular communication and follow up with the business owner and other stakeholders, the agent, and/or insurance broker Achieve defined business results related to commercial insurance sales and service objectivesDemonstrate clear and direct ownership for the market assigned and work collaboratively with other team members in order to achieve overall business objectives.Required to operate several systems simultaneously while speaking with customersUpdate customer policy records accuratelyJob QualificationsUndergraduate college degree expected2 - 4 years sales experience preferredStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills expectedInsurance sales experience strongly preferred Maintain an active property and casualty license for state(s) in which you live, work and serviceAbility to conduct professional business meetings virtually with agents and provide direction on market opportunities and ABIs value propositionHigh level of dependability and flexibilityThe candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.Good Work.
