Job Description

Act-On Software is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to optimize and expand the functionality of our corporate website (Act-On.com). You’ll be part of a cross-functional marketing team that’s responsible for the full development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You’ll also be managing an outside development agency to help increase the pace of website optimization and additions of new features and applications.
As a Full Stack Web Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Responsibilities
• Work with marketing members, third-party development agency, and product managers to ideate solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade website
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Integrate and optimize the integration of Act-On’s Marketing Automation platform into existing website
• Integrate third-party tools and applications into website
• Write technical documentation
• Work with marketing operations and use data analysis to identify issues and opportunities to prioritize your efforts
Requirements
• 3+ Years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing desktop and mobile websites and applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery)
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP, C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Windows, Apache) and UI/UX design
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems (WordPress experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• An analytical mind
• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
