Steno is growing! Were looking for a Sales Manager with experience in the legal industry to join our winning team. In this role, youll help us develop and manage our Sales team, supporting both revenue generation and professional development, reporting directly to our VP of Sales.Who are you?Were looking for a Sales Manager who is highly organized and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment--we know youve heard this before, but were not kidding! Were growing rapidly and expanding our territory, so were looking for someone who is excited to match pace and help us continue on that trajectory. If you are ready to board the rocketship and want to have a direct impact on our ability to grow our impact nationwide, then this role is for you! You will be instrumental in supporting the Sales team, managing people and processes with an innovative approach. Operating with a hospitality mindset, often under pressure, is critical to ensuring our internal and external clients are able to operate at full capacity. Youre gonna crush it (seriously!) if you have an impressive book of business in legal sales and support services as well as solid experience managing direct reports. Youll be interfacing directly with Stenos product, clients, and internal employees, so its essential that youre comfortable coordinating many moving parts while maintaining focus on driving team metrics. On a regular basis youll be: Overseeing the performance and output of a robust sales team operating in territories nationwide Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands Stenos client base and ensures market presence in coordination with Senior Sales team leadersManaging objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of direct reports across the Sales teamPreparing sales budgets and projections; monitoring team KPIs and generating reports and recommendationsBuilding and promoting strong, long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them to resolve issues and understanding their needs Our TeamOur Sales team is laser-focused on bringing in business that will help Steno achieve our big, audacious goals. Youre gonna crush it if:You have successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently exceeding targetsYouve demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationYou have excellent menor and people management skills with the ability to guide and coach direct reports and influence their development You have the ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectivelyYoure experienced in using a CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales You have strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patternsYou can (and have successfully) design and implement a successful sales strategy in a fast-paced or startup environment Why Steno, Why Now? About StenoSteno was founded in Los Angeles in 2018. We are a quickly growing legal technology startup with a very simple core purpose - to improve the litigation process.
