Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for providing support in all areas of online marketing, including SEO, SEM, and Social Media. This position will support the Digital Marketing Manager and the SEM & Data Analytics Manger to maximize the potential reach of SROA's online marketing efforts.



  • Reach out to bloggers and website owners and acquire high quality links through article contributions.
  • Monitor and analyze backlinks and keyword rankings through digital tools like SEM Rush
  • Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
  • Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
  • Conduct research, analysis, and audits, then making recommendations for improvement
  • Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
  • Assist with monthly report generation


  • Respond to customer reviews and communicate with operations on escalations.

Social Media

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content
  • Connect with online community and build our following on social media.


  • Optimize campaigns for Google Ads. This includes providing suggestions for ad copy & callouts, as well as bid management & strategy.
  • Contribute content to additional advertising website such as
  • Assist in the management of budget & conversion tracking


  • Contribute to the formatting of raw data into useable form.
  • Use of Microsoft Excel and light use of Power BI.
  • Accessing and formatting of data in Google Analytics & Tag Manager.
  • Pulling and reviewing actionable KPI metrics to share with the team.


  • Demonstrated expertise in: SEO, SEM (Google, Yahoo and Bing) and Conversion Rate Optimization.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge/understanding in: Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager
  • Competent in MS Office
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing applications and data analysis.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with clients and team members in a positive manner.
  • Monitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPIs
  • Prepare and present reports regularly
  • Identify problems and deficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Suggest improvements for process and productivity optimization
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to research, identify and implement new strategies.
  • General knowledge in: HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or applicable experience in communications or marketing.
