Job Description
ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space System Command’s (SSC) Remote Sensing (RS) Program through the RS Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) contract. This position, located in Aurora, CO, will support a diverse set of strategic and tactical Remote Sensing systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. Duties will include:
• Supporting system engineering and Deficiency Report (DR) management for SSC/RS Enterprise space, ground, hardware, software, fixed site and mobile systems
• Executing Deficiency Review Boards on behalf of the government customer providing a forum for DR assessment and review
• Creating, maintaining, and distributing DR status products
• Supporting integration activities including hardware, software, cybersecurity and network upgrades
• Collaborating with prime contractors, other support contractors, government civilians, and members of the U.S. Space Force
Qualifications Required (Skills)
• BS degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent field with 8+ years of systems integration and systems engineering experience; or Master’s degree in an engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent field with 6+ years of systems integration and systems engineering experience.
• Experience, working with Space Force/DoD customers or military service
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to facilitate meetings and speak publicly
• Ability to travel periodically
• MUST HAVE A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
Qualifications Desired
• Experience working with Space Force/DoD customers in Operations and Sustainment environments
• Experience with the operations, acquisition and/or deployment of Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) and SBIRS/OPIR ground systems
• Experience with databases and systems such as ClearQuest, DI2E, JIRA, Remedy, etc.
• Knowledge of development lifecycle, project integration, schedule analysis and stakeholder processes
• Active TS/SCI

Division Description
The Aerospace Sciences and Engineering (ASE) Division is based in Cocoa Beach, Fla., with facilities and capabilities in Colorado Springs, Colo., El Segundo, Calif., and Orcutt, Calif. ASE’s primary focus is aerospace engineering, cyber security and meteorological systems.
ASE is the prime contractor to the U.S. Space Force, providing Systems Engineering & Integration of the Launch Safety infrastructure, the Satellite Control Network and the Standard Space Trainer.
ENSCO’s aerospace engineering efforts support launch range activities throughout the U.S. ASE employees are developing the Range of the future and evaluating highly technical systems for critical launch operations, including range instrumentation, safety and communications.
