Job Description

Qualifications:
• Demonstrate business communication skills, including but not limited to verbal and written communications skills, including but not limited to the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and interpersonal skills
• Experience in computer peripheral sales, telesales or similar industry experience is preferred, but not required
• Previous experience with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and/or value-added resellers (VARS) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of SalesForce.com is highly desirable
You will cultivate and grow relationships with new accounts as well as re-establishing contacts and business with dormant accounts. After initial sales training, you will be mainly out bounding sales calls for multiple accounts in a sales territory.
• Develop and maintain vendor, distribution and customer relationships
• Focus on developing and expanding new accounts
• Maintain sales accounts and submit Volume Discount Pricing Agreements in an efficient and timely manner
• Perform a variety of sales duties, including but not limited to account research
• Maintain required sales documentation via SalesForce (activities, forecast/pipeline, VDPA etc)
• Work with multiple departments within Targus (customer service, product managers, shipping, RAM’s, CAM’s, finance etc.)
Sells Targus products, via telephone or electronic means to customers (VAR’s, distribution, end users) in assigned territory. May generate prospective customers via cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities
