Veracode is looking for an innovative, self-motivated technical professional to manage the Server Operations team. This individual will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the corporate server infrastructure. This includes overseeing all Windows server hardware, software, storage, backup, and Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate should have experience in day-to-day infrastructure troubleshooting and understanding the criticality of the business and display a sense of urgency with the ability to strive in a rapid and fast-paced environment.
Managing a team of 3-5 senior level individual contributors
Candidate must be self-directed and capable of working on several projects and efforts simultaneously
Experience leading and driving projects including Active Directory, Microsoft server clustering using Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server, Windows DFS, Remote Desktop Services
Hands-on experience with VMware platforms
Hands-on Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone and Teams Meetings for video conferencing systems
Knowledge of enterprise solutions such as Office 365, Azure, SharePoint with a focus on, SaaS, PaaS, for future growth
Solid understanding of multifactor authentication and common security methodologies
Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Services (including, WSUS, SCCM, FTP, DNS, DFS, TCP/IP, DHCP, SNMP)
Experience working in a production datacenter
Document technical designs and procedures
Sound understanding of scripting and automation
Communicate information through effective written and oral communication and presentations
Provide metrics for capacity planning purposes
Candidate must be able to work independently to perform job duties in accordance with department procedures, policies, and objectives. Work requires high level reasoning ability (perceptive, intelligent, imaginative, and flexible) as well as independent judgment, analysis, and computer skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Management or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ management experience within an Enterprise environment
At least 7-10 years technical experience in Windows Server infrastructure
