Job Summary
We are looking for an expert in the dairy powder business; one who is knowledgeable in the application of Evaporation and Drying technologies. This person will be responsible for supporting all accounts interested in diary and whey powders for the United States and Canada. As an individual contributor, this role requires collaboration between the Technology Center and global experts in identifying solutions that meet the customers needs. This person must have interest in growing the business in this region (new sales, equipment, and projects in different categories) and have a strong collaborative spirit.
You can be home based anywhere in the United States
You will be travelling up to 50% of your time: customer locations, industry conferences, and internal meetings.
What you will do
As a Processing Sales Manager Evaporation & Drying, you will:
• Drive sustainable growth for Evaporation and Drying New Sales by supporting the Sales Team, a cross-functional/cross-border team, to build strong customer relationships while identifying and capturing short, medium and long-term business opportunities.
• Represent the US and CA interests in Evaporation and Drying solutions to the Central Technology Center and global technology network.
• Present and market the Evaporation and Drying technology and portfolio to the US & CA customer base.
• Support the US & CA account managers in all Leads & Opportunity Management, building strong technical and commercial solutions.
• Develop short- and long-term Sales Strategies for the US & CA marketplaces for a profitable dairy powder business.
• Research and understand market trends in the dairy and whey powder business, while understanding our competition to influence our product portfolio development.
• Drive up-to-date knowledge of Tetra Paks New Sales portfolio within the Sales teams and ensure that the relevant Tetra Pak portfolio is deployed in full, meets competitiveness requirements and delivers a strong value proposition for the customers.
• Drive Customer Satisfaction and Partnership improvements for the customer.
We believe you have
• Bachelor’s degree: Chemical, Food, Mechanical Engineering or any other related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
• Experience in sales of technical equipment is a must
• Proficiency in English is required (verbal and written)
• Very strong negotiation skills, leadership skills, dynamic, proactive, and strong communicator.
