Your role
In the role of Technology Anaylyst (Java development), you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required
• 6+ years of development experience in developing enterprise-grade server side applications with Java as primary programming language.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Data structures and algorithms, Web services, REST APIs, JSON, XML etc.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, messaging systems like Solace, Kafka etc.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, ability to write unit tests, and perform operational support of applications whenever needed.
• Knowledge and experience in RDBMS concepts and databases like Oracle, DB2 etc. Experience with various mocking frameworks, test driven development, and performance/endurance testing with tools like JMeter and Postman.
• Good understanding of application development design patterns
• Candidate must be visa-independent to work in the UK
