Job Description
We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) organization. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for the development of backend APIs that interface primarily with React front-end screens. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance systems that power our pharmacy benefit management solutions.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Python that integrate seamlessly with React front-end applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and version control using Git/Jenkins
• Work closely with AWS services such as S3, EMR, DynamoDB, Lambda, and others to build scalable and reliable systems
• Optimize application performance and scalability through continuous improvement and proactive monitoring
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring smooth operation of systems in production environments
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to contribute innovative ideas and solutions
Qualifications
• Proven track record of successful implementations as a Python Developer in a professional setting, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its libraries/frameworks
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, EMR, DynamoDB, Lambda, etc., and deploying applications on AWS infrastructure
• Familiarity with Git for version control and continuous integration tools like Jenkins
• Knowledge of React and ability to collaborate effectively with front-end developers
• Solid understanding of backend development principles, RESTful APIs, and database technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, provide technical guidance, and document processes and solutions
